JAMESTOWN, NY (WNY News Now) – A pickup truck driver miraculously escaped without injury after barreling down an embankment in Chautauqua County.
On Wednesday afternoon the Westfield Fire Department responded to Route 5 near the Barcelona Harbor for a motor vehicle crash.
First responders located a truck down an embankment with the vehicle’s driver stuck inside.
The Chautauqua County Tech Rescue Team assisted crews with stabilizing the vehicle before the lone occupant was extricated from inside.
While the subject was transported to Westfield Memorial Hospital for evaluation, officials say they were surprisingly uninjured.
