MAYVILLE, NY (WNY News Now) – A Jamestown resident held at Chautauqua County’s Jail is accused of smashing a phone within the facility.

On Monday the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office filed additional charges against Bart Bartlett.

Bartlett, who was recently accused of illegal drug and stolen vehicle possession, was awaiting court proceedings within the facility.

While in custody, the 38-year-old is accused of intentionally smashing the facility’s phone located within a cell block, breaking it into multiple pieces.
