The Upper Course at Peek’n Peak Resort opened on Friday for new and experienced golfers to enjoy. The course located in Clymer, New York features 18 holes of golf, golf packages, and lodging accommodations.

Tom DeKoning, director of mountain operations, said keeping the course in good condition is hard work but is worth it. “Taking care of this is a challenge because of the way that it is designed, there is a lot of maintenance that goes into it to keep it good but we pride ourselves on having good conditions,” DeKoning said.

He said that the course is one that both new and experienced golfers can enjoy. “New golfers come out and see what a good course this is and we have our regulars that come year after year, stay here, play for a few days and really enjoy it,” he said.

With the opening day having nothing but sunny skies, golfers enjoyed playing in the sunshine. “You can not get any better than this especially for the month of April,” said Steve Woyat.

With early season rates, you can play all 18 holes of the Upper Course at Peek’n Peak Resort Mondays through Thursdays for $40 dollars or Fridays through Sundays for $49 dollars through April 28th.
