Residential Fire Reported In Chautauqua County

CHAUTAUQUA, NY (WNY News Now) – An investigation continues to determine what sparked a residential fire in Chautauqua County.

On Monday night around 11:20 p.m. the Sherman Fire Department, and several other fire agencies for mutual aid, responded to an address on Route 430 in the Town of Chautauqua.

After the residential structure fire was extinguished, the Chautauqua County Fire Investigation Team responded to the scene to determine the fire’s cause and origin.

Through investigation it was determined that the fire originated in the second story of the home, however, officials say a cause of the fire was not able to be determined at this time.
