Drugs Recovered In Dunkirk Raid

DUNKIRK, NY (WNY News Now) – Cocaine, fentanyl and drug packaging material are among evidence seized by law enforcement in northern Chautauqua County during a Tuesday drug raid.

Around 10 a.m. County Sheriff’s Narcotics Investigators executed a search warrant at 131 Lakeshore Drive East, the lower apartment, in Dunkirk.


Inside the residence, around 12 grams of cocaine, 38 grams of crack cocaine, 30 grams of fentanyl, drug packaging material, scales and $642 dollars in cash was discovered.

The two people have since been arrested. Ronnie Walker and Kevin Hunt face several counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminally using drug paraphernalia.

The community is asked to report suspicious, or narcotics related activity within their neighborhoods to the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office tip line call at (716) 664-2420.
