JAMESTOWN, NY (WNY News Now) – Police in Jamestown have located a vehicle of interest in connection with a Thursday morning homicide on the city’s southside, however a suspect is still at-large.

Jamestown Police say Michael Burham should be considered armed and dangerous.

The suspect is a person of interest in connection with a homicide at 125 William Street.

Law enforcement are tight lipped about specific details, however we know EMS crews were dispatched to the address around 4:30 a.m. Thursday for a reported unresponsive woman. Since then, the county coroner and forensic investigation team were called to the location.

Across town just minutes following the homicide, a domestic dispute and vehicle fire broke out on Fulton Street in Jamestown. Detectives are trying to connect clues between the murder and arson scene.

“An incendiary origin basically means that it was caused by a device of some sort, we are looking into that, we’ve obtained video from the area that we have,” explained Jamestown Police Captain Robert Samuelson. “I think you can read between the lines here about what we’re looking at, but, it’s very important that we find Mr. Burham.”

Burham is believed to be in the Jamestown New York or Warren Pennsylvania area. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Jamestown Police confidential tip line at 716-483-8477.
