LILY DALE, NY (WNY News Now) – A 23-year-old man is accused of trafficking drugs into a spiritualist community in Chautauqua County.

On Tuesday the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office, in conjunction with Customs and Border Protection, arrested Nicholas Loomis following a months-long investigation into the trafficking of narcotics through FedEx from Great Britian to Lily Dale in Chautauqua County.

Investigators say Loomis was allegedly busted with 3 Kilos of codeine and subsequently was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Since his arrest, Loomis has been remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail without bail.

Community members are asked to report suspicious, or narcotics related activity within their neighborhoods to the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office at (716) 664-2420.
