
JAMESTOWN, NY (WNY News Now) – A Jamestown man with several felony warrants for breaking into properties, and almost two dozen license suspensions was apprehended Saturday morning.
At 9 a.m. on July 8, Jamestown Police conducted a routine traffic stop on Harrison Street due to the vehicles failure to stop as a stop sign and lack of tail lights.
While speaking to the vehicle’s driver, Daniel Garcia, police discovered that he did not have a license.
Police ran Garcia through their system and found that he possessed 23 scoffs (suspended driving rights) across 10 different states.
Garcia was then placed into custody while police conducted a search and discovered a red cylinder containing Cocaine.
The suspect was taken to the Jamestown City Jail without trouble and charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the First degree, and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Seventh degree.
Garcia was booked and released with an appearance ticket as well as multiple Uniform Traffic Tickets.
