Jamestown Man Arrested for Criminal Possession of Controlled Substance

Jamestown, NY (WNY News Now) – Patrick F. Patterson (48) of Jamestown, was apprehended by officers of the Jamestown Police Department on 7/29/23 for alleged Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th Degree and violating the Jamestown City Code by littering.

Jamestown Police Department apprehended Patrick F. Patterson on W 6th St. near Steele St. The officers observed Patterson discarding a piece of paper onto private property and failing to retrieve it. A subsequent search incident to arrest led officers to discover a quantity of methamphetamine in Patterson’s possession.

Patterson faces charges of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th Degree, alongside a violation of the Jamestown City Code for littering. He is currently held at the Jamestown City Jail, awaiting arraignment.
