JAMESTOWN, NY (WNY News Now) – In an effort to help our furry friends find their fur-ever homes, WNY News Now has partnered with the Chautauqua County Humane Society in a segment we like to call, Pet Of The Week.

“Well this is Stream, and Stream is here in the cat colony at the Chautauqua County Humane Society, and he is really friendly. He loves to be cuddled and held, sometimes they get a little squirrely for these kind of segments, but as you can tell he gets along with cats, he’s got a few buddies right here on the floor, and he is up for adoption right now, so if you have cats he might be a good fit. Also, if you don’t have cats he might be a good starter cat because he’s so calm and lovey dovey, so come on down and meet him here at the Chautauqua County Humane Society,” said director of communications Brian Papalia.

Stream the cat really made a good first impression by allowing Papalia to lift him up.

“It was really a pretty quick introduction, I had not met him before and you can’t do that with all the cats here. Sometimes it takes a little bit longer to warm up, but he warmed up pretty good and I think he just got a little uncomfortable, a little antsy, but definitely come down and if Stream is not your guy, we have plenty to choose from,” said Papalia.

Stream is about two years old according to Papalia, and is dressed for a special occasion.

“He looks pretty Tuxedo-ey, he’s got kind of a v-neck tuxedo, a little tuxedo guy,” Papalia said.
