Mina, NY (WNY News Now) – A town of Mina man was arrested by Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office deputies on August 6, 2023 for allegedly putting his hands around another person’s throat, damaging property, and endangering a child.
Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a disorderly person incident in the Town of Mina on August 6, 2023, around 4:03 PM. Following an investigation it was revealed that Gregory A. Griswold (37) had allegedly put his hands around another individual’s throat and causing damage to their property. Allegedly all of this occurred in the presence of a child.
Griswold now faces multiple charges including criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation, criminal mischief in the fourth degree, and endangering the welfare of a child.
Griswold was subsequently transported to Mayville for centralized arraignment.
