(WNY News Now) – A 32-year-old woman, was arrested by Jamestown Police after a traffic stop led to the discovery of drugs in her possession.

Jamestown – In an incident on August 24, 2023, at approximately 1:40 am, officers from the Jamestown Police Department Violent Crime Unit halted a vehicle on Crescent St due to a witnessed traffic offense. The driver, identified as Taylor N. O’Neil, was accompanied by two male passengers.

Upon interaction, officers noticed drug-related items in plain sight. Following a search, a quantity of fentanyl was found among Taylor’s belongings.


She was taken into custody while the male passengers were released at the scene. Taylor faces charges for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th and received traffic citations. Taylor was released with an appearance ticket for Jamestown City Court.
