(WNY News Now) – The City of Olean Department of Public Works has announced new traffic arrangements on Front Street, including the installation of stop signs at key intersections, effective from August 29, 2023.

Olean – Olean area residents are advised of upcoming alterations to traffic flow as the City’s Department of Public Works implements changes on Front Street. Commencing August 29, two intersections will see modifications.

Front Street and Prospect Avenue will transform into a three-way stop, enhancing safety at this junction. Moreover, Front Street and Spring Street will shift to a four-way stop, aiming to streamline traffic movement.

Local motorists are urged to exercise caution and adapt to these adjustments in the road network. For further information, individuals can contact the City of Olean Department of Public Works at (716) 376-5650.
