(WNY News Now) – A Jamestown man is facing DWI charges after a routine traffic stop for insufficient tail lights. 

Ellicott – On 8/26/23 at around 2:21 a.m. the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on I-86 in the Town of Ellicott. The operator of the vehicle was identified as Devan Jackson, 24, of Jamestown.

An investigation found Jackson to be Driving While Intoxicated. Jackson was arrested and charged with DWI, DWI per se, and No/Insufficient Tail Lamps.

Jackson was later released with tickets to appear in the Town of Ellicott Court for a later date.
