(WNY News Now) – A local resident was apprehended by New York State Troopers on Wednesday, August 30, 2023, for alleged Driving While Intoxicated (DWI).
Fredonia – Torin J. Obrien, 31, of Fredonia was arrested for alleged Driving While Intoxicated (DWI) after a single-car accident on State Route 60 in Pomfret. Law enforcement officials noticed signs of impairment in Obrien during their investigation, such as the inability to pass field sobriety tests.
Following his arrest, Obrien declined to take a chemical breath test. He was subsequently issued an appearance ticket for Pomfret Town Court, for an appearance in September 2023.
