(WNY News Now) – Sunday morning collision between an electric scooter and a vehicle at an intersection in Jamestown, NY, resulted in injuries to a Dunkirk man.

Jamestown –  On Sunday, August 27, 2023, at 10 a.m., a collision occurred at the intersection of N. Work St and E. Main St in Jamestown, New York. Susan Williamson of Jamestown was traveling southbound on N. Work St, having the right of way with a green traffic signal. Michael Cox of Dunkirk was traveling westbound on E. Main St, operating an electric scooter, and failed to obey the red light. This resulted in a collision between the two.

Emergency services promptly arrived at the scene, and Cox was transported by Falconer Rescue to Falconer Central before being airlifted to UPMC Hamot for further medical attention.
