(WNY News Now) – In the early hours of September 6, 2023, Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a disturbance call in the Town of Mina, leading to the arrest of  a 41-year-old male, on charges of Unlawful Imprisonment 2nd Degree and Harassment 2nd Degree.

Mina – At approximately 1 a.m. on September 6, 2023, Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a reported altercation at an address in the Town of Mina. Following a thorough investigation, Jace T. Bemis, 41, was apprehended and subsequently charged with Unlawful Imprisonment 2nd Degree and Harassment 2nd Degree.

Bemis was transported to the Chautauqua County Jail, where he awaits his initial appearance in court for arraignment proceedings.
