(WNY News Now) – In an operation carried out by the Lakewood-Busti Police Department on September 7th, 2023, Jamestown woman was apprehended following the execution of an active arrest warrant.

The incident involved the apprehension of Elizabeth L. Asher, 40, of Jamestown, who faced charges related to a Failure to Appear case. The warrant, issued by the Town of Busti Court, resulted in Asher’s detention, with the matter now marked as “Closed.”

Following her arrest, Asher was transported to the Chautauqua County Jail, with the Town of Busti Court providing a bail recommendation for her release. Subsequently, Elizabeth L. Asher is slated to appear before the Town of Busti Court on a future date.
