(WNY News Now) – A 21-year-old Jamestown resident, is in custody facing charges of Criminal Contempt 1st Degree, Criminal Mischief 3rd Degree, and Disorderly Conduct after a disturbance on September 11th.
Jamestown – On September 11, 2023, at approximately 09:12 am, Jamestown’s First Platoon officers responded to reports of a fight in progress on the city’s East side. Upon arrival, officers encountered Michael J. Connolly, 21, standing in the street, allegedly brandishing a brick and engaging in erratic behavior, which included screaming and throwing items.
Officers subdued Connolly without further incident. Subsequent investigation revealed that Connolly had damaged property belonging to a female victim, against whom he held an order of protection.
Connolly was promptly taken into custody and transported to the Jamestown City Jail, where he now faces charges of Criminal Contempt 1st Degree, Criminal Mischief 3rd Degree, and Disorderly Conduct. He remains held pending arraignment in Jamestown City Court.
