Opera House Presents Broadway Star Eden Espinosa in Concert

(WNY News Now) – The 1891 Fredonia Opera House Performing Arts Center is delighted to announce a special evening with Broadway sensation Eden Espinosa. On Friday, September 22, at 7:30 p.m., Espinosa will take the stage for an extraordinary concert, featuring Broadway classics, the Great American Songbook, and some of her original compositions.

FREDONIA – Opera House Executive Director Rick Davis expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “This is an exciting opportunity for people to hear such a talented artist. Eden currently is in rehearsal for a new musical, which will preview next month at the Lincoln Center Theatre in New York, and she very graciously carved out time from that schedule to come to the Opera House for this event.”

Prior to the concert, Espinosa will conduct a master class for selected musical theatre students. The public is invited to attend the class for free at 2 p.m. in Rosch Recital Hall on the campus of the State University of New York at Fredonia.

Espinosa is renowned for her roles in “Wicked,” “BKLYN the Musical,” “Flora the Red Menace,” and “Rent.” She has also impressed audiences in international productions and on television, with a successful music career highlighted by her albums “Look Around” and “Revelation.”

Tickets for the concert are priced at $25 for adults, $23 for Opera House members, and $10 for students. They can be purchased at the Opera House Box Office or online at www.fredopera.org.
