
BUFFALO, NY (WNY News Now) – A Buffalo man pleaded guilty to possession of child pornography involving a prepubescent minor.
40-year-old Kevin Moore pleaded guilty after Moore’s ex-girlfriend discovered a USB drive belonging to Moore back in June of 2022. Upon plugging it into a computer, she discovered the presence of child pornography. The ex-girlfriend reported the incident to the Buffalo Police Department, who seized the USB drive and turned it over to the FBI.
A forensic review recovered approximately 33 videos and 360 images of child pornography, some which depicted prepubescent children and violence against children.
Possession of child pornography involving a prepubescent minor carries a maximum penalty of 20 years and a fine of $250,000.
