ROCHESTER, NY (WNY News Now) – Owner and operator of T&J Country Kitchen Inc. in Hornell has pleaded guilty to aiding and assisting in the preparation of a false or fraudulent tax return. 

Theodore LaFrance had hired Staff Leasing Inc. to provide payroll services for his business, and between 2014 and 2018, LaFrance provided false information regarding the wages staff were paid. 

It has been found that T&J Country Kitchen Inc. did not include a total of $235,560.42 in wages, which resulted in a tax loss of approximately $36,040.74, according to Attorney Meghan McGuire.

This crime carries a maximum penalty of three years in prison and a fine of $100,000.

  1. Pathetic. 36,040.74 over four years. That’s about 9K a year. ie next to NOTHING. Joe Biden has given $ BILLIONS away to a country (which has paid him $millions) for a war, which has nothing to do with Americans. Theodore LaFrance did nothing wrong.
