Mayville – John Anzalone has been found guilty of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 2nd degree, an A-II felony, by a jury, as revealed by District Attorney Jason Schmidt. The verdict carries a maximum prison sentence of 14 years. This conviction stems from a thorough investigation by the Jamestown Metro Drug Task Force (JMDTF), which executed a search warrant at Mr. Anzalone’s residence in January 2021, resulting in the discovery of approximately seven ounces of cocaine.

Multiple law enforcement agencies collaborated on this case, including the Jamestown Police Department (JPD), Ellicott Police Department (EDP), and Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO).
