Audubon Camp Offers Outdoor Learning Experience for Children Ages 4-12


(WNY News Now) – Audubon Community Nature Center is hosting an October Camp on Monday, October 9, offering children aged 4 to 12 an opportunity to engage with nature and explore the wonders of autumn.

Jamestown – As the school year gets underway, Audubon Community Nature Center is inviting children aged 4 to 12 to join their October Camp on Monday, October 9, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The camp aims to provide kids with a day of outdoor activities and educational experiences.

Participants will have the chance to connect with the natural world during this one-day camp. Activities include learning about changing trees, exploring autumn insects, and observing migrating birds. Nature educators will lead hands-on activities and lessons, creating a blend of learning, play, and exploration.


To ensure a comfortable experience, parents are encouraged to dress their children appropriately for the weather and provide extra clothing and gear for outdoor activities.

The cost for the camp day is $48 for children aged 4 to 12, with a discounted rate of $36 for Nature Center members. Families with additional siblings can enjoy a $5 discount per child. Please note that enrollment is limited, and reservations must be paid by Thursday, October 5.
