(WNY News Now) – A domestic disturbance involving a 19-year-old local man resulted in charges of Criminal Mischief 3rd and Criminal Obstruction of Breathing/Blood Circulation.
Jamestown – On September 20, 2023, at approximately 11:50 pm, officers from the 3rd platoon were dispatched following reports of a disorderly person. Upon arrival, it was alleged that Tyren L. Wofford, 19, had been involved in a confrontation during which he allegedly grabbed a female by the neck. Additionally, property damage was reported at the scene.
Wofford was subsequently taken into custody and transported to the city jail, where he remains held pending his arraignment at Jamestown City Court.
The charges filed against him include Criminal Mischief 3rd, relating to the property damage, and Criminal Obstruction of Breathing/Blood Circulation, in connection with the alleged physical altercation.
