Chautauqua County Gears Up for Walk to End Alzheimer’s


(WNY News Now) – Hundreds of Chautauqua County residents are set to participate in the world’s largest Alzheimer’s fundraiser, uniting to support care, research, and those affected by the disease.

This Saturday, September 23, marks the date for Chautauqua County’s Walk to End Alzheimer’s event, with registration commencing at 10 a.m. and the opening ceremony and walk at 11 a.m. The event will be held at Point Gratiot Park, located at Rt 5 & Point Dr. W in Dunkirk, NY.

The occasion will bring together current and former caregivers, individuals living with Alzheimer’s, their families, and representatives from the Alzheimer’s Association, all of whom will be available on-site for interviews. The event is part of a broader effort to raise funds and awareness for Alzheimer’s care and research.
