(WNY News Now) – A former Dunkirk woman has received a seven-year state prison sentence and three years of post-supervision after her conviction for Assault in the Second Degree, stemming from injuries inflicted on a child under seven years old in 2021, as announced by District Attorney Jason Schmidt.
Mayville -In a significant legal development, Titiana Berrios, once a resident of Dunkirk, New York, has been handed a seven-year state prison sentence, followed by three years of post-supervision, by Hon. David W. Foley.
This sentencing comes following Berrios’s conviction for Assault in the Second Degree, relating to injuries she caused to a child under seven years of age in 2021.
The investigation into this matter was spearheaded by the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office, with special acknowledgment given to Investigators Walter, Stahley, and Vara, along with the Child Advocacy Program.
