Local residents and nature enthusiasts are in for an enlightening experience as Glenn Wahl, a Jamestown Community College geology instructor, takes center stage at the Audubon Community Nature Center’s First Friday Lunch Bunch on October 6 from 11 a.m. to noon. The event promises a captivating exploration of “The Geology of Chautauqua Lake.”
Wahl’s extensive background in geology and environmental biology equips him with a unique perspective on the region’s geological evolution, spanning hundreds of millions of years. From the remnants of ancient oceans to the sculpting force of mile-thick glaciers, Wahl will unveil the remarkable forces that have shaped Chautauqua Lake’s current landscape.
