Lockport – In an incident that occurred on September 25, 2023, at approximately 7:40 P.M., New York State Troopers from Lockport responded to reports of a potential shooting at the Wendy’s restaurant located on South Transit Road in the town of Lockport.
Upon investigation, it was determined that a dispute had escalated in the restaurant’s parking lot, leading to Jerry Torres Jr. allegedly brandishing a Glock 9mm pistol and subsequently shooting a 24-year-old individual in the leg. The victim, suffering from non-life-threatening injuries, was swiftly transported to the Erie County Medical Center via ambulance.
