
(WNY News Now) – A 36-year-old resident of Jamestown was apprehended by law enforcement officers on charges of Petit Larceny following a reported shoplifting incident at a business located on the city’s south side.
Jamestown – The Jamestown City Police Department’s first platoon responded to a call reporting an alleged shoplifting incident on the afternoon of September 27th. Upon arriving at the business premises on the city’s south side, officers swiftly located and detained Joshua M. Eddy, a 36-year-old resident of Jamestown, in the vicinity.
Eddy was subsequently transported to the city jail, where he remains in custody while awaiting arraignment proceedings. He now faces a charge of Petit Larceny in connection with the alleged theft.
