(WNY News Now) – On September 28th, 2023, a Stockton man was arrested in the Town of Hanover on charges of Driving While Intoxicated (DWI) and DWI; Per Se following a welfare check by Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Deputies.

Hanover – Deputies from the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office responded to a welfare check concerning a motorist in the Town of Hanover on September 28th, 2023, at 14:27. After a thorough investigation, it was determined that 57-year-old James B. Erickson, a resident of Stockton, had allegedly been operating a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol.

Erickson was subsequently arrested and charged with DWI and DWI; Per Se. Following his arrest, he was taken to the Hanover Substation for processing and later released with tickets to appear in the Town of Hanover Court on a future date.
