
(WNY News Now) – A 22-year-old Jamestown man is facing charges of Aggravated Family Offense, Criminal Contempt 1st, and Harassment 2nd after an alleged domestic disturbance incident on the city’s west side.
Jamestown – On the evening of September 29, 2023, at approximately 6:29 PM, officers from the Jamestown Police Department’s 2nd platoon responded to a call regarding a domestic disturbance at a west side address. Upon their arrival, law enforcement determined that Austin J. Harkins had allegedly threatened a female victim, which subsequently led to a violation of an existing order of protection.
Austin J. Harkins, a 22-year-old resident of Jamestown, was consequently charged with Harassment 2nd, Criminal Contempt 1st, and Aggravated Family Offense in connection with the incident.
Following his arrest, Harkins was transported to the Jamestown City Jail, where he is currently being held pending arraignment in Jamestown City Court.
