(WNY News Now) – Residents of Jamestown are advised to adhere to the daily alternate parking regulations, parking on the odd-numbered side of the street on odd-numbered days and the even-numbered side on even-numbered days, with the changeover occurring at 10:00 am.
Jamestown – The City of Jamestown has initiated its daily alternate parking regulations, requiring residents with vehicles to park on specific sides of the street based on the day’s odd or even number. This system aims to facilitate efficient snow removal, reduce traffic congestion, and ensure public safety during inclement weather.
Starting at 10:00 am each day, residents should park their vehicles on the side of the street corresponding to the date. On odd-numbered days, park on the odd-numbered side, and on even-numbered days, park on the even-numbered side. This rule applies to all residential areas within the city limits.
City officials emphasize the importance of compliance with these regulations to maintain smooth traffic flow and facilitate snowplowing operations. Violators may face fines or have their vehicles towed.
