Jamestown – In the early hours of 10/11/23, Jamestown Police Department officers halted a vehicle on E 6th St, initially for making an improper right turn. Subsequent investigation revealed that Jeremy E. Smith was allegedly operating the vehicle under the influence of alcohol. The 36-year-old from Lake Park, FL, was promptly arrested and transported to the Jamestown City Jail. Smith is currently in custody, pending arraignment, after he declined a chemical test. He is now facing multiple charges, including Driving While Intoxicated, Aggravated Unlicensed Operation 3rd, and the initial Improper Right Turn offense.
