(WNY News Now) – A Buffalo resident has been sentenced to a combined term of 3 years plus 2 years under indictment 21-130, 1 ½ years plus 1 year under indictment 21-123, and 1 ½ years plus 1 year under indictment 23-93 by the New York State Department of Corrections. These sentences will run concurrently with her convictions related to drug offenses.
Cattaraugus – Shamara Robinson, born on November 21, 1990, has received multiple sentences for her involvement in drug-related offenses. The incidents in question occurred on February 3, 2023, in the town of Hinsdale, October 28, 2020, in the City of Olean, and February 8, 2021, in the Town of Yorkshire.
Robinson was found guilty of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the fifth degree under indictment 23-93, criminal possession of a controlled substance in the fifth degree under indictment 21-123, and criminal sale of a controlled substance in the third degree under indictment 21-130. In each case, she was found to have knowingly and unlawfully possessed narcotics with the intent to sell them.
The New York State Department of Corrections has imposed concurrent sentences for these convictions, totaling 3 years plus 2 years, 1 ½ years plus 1 year, and 1 ½ years plus 1 year, respectively.
