Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office Responds to Harassment Incident

(WNY News Now) – Deputies from the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to Jaekle Ave in the Town of Hanover on October 14, 2023, at approximately 10:40 AM, following a reported altercation involving unwanted physical contact.

Hanover – On October 14, 2023, at around 10:40 AM, law enforcement officers from the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office were called to Jaekle Ave in the Town of Hanover in response to a reported altercation. Subsequent investigation revealed that 41-year-old Robert J Bissell, a resident of Hanover, had engaged in unwanted physical contact with another individual.

As a result, Robert J Bissell was apprehended and charged with Harassment in the Second Degree. Following his arrest, he was taken into custody and subsequently transported to the Chautauqua County Jail for Centralized Arraignment Processing (CAP).
