(WNY News Now) – A 43-year-old resident was apprehended by officers on 10/20/23 at 4:47 pm in Ellicott, following an attempt to evade arrest when officers, aware of an outstanding warrant, attempted to stop him on E. Livingston Ave.
Celoron – Ralph R. Patterson, 43, was taken into custody by Ellicott officers on the evening of October 20th, 2023, after allegedly attempting to evade arrest when confronted on E. Livingston Ave. Officers had prior knowledge of an arrest warrant issued by the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office for Patterson.
Patterson’s encounter with the police resulted in a brief foot pursuit before he was apprehended and turned over to the custody of the Sheriff’s Office. In addition to the outstanding warrant, further charges for obstructing governmental administration were filed against Patterson by Ellicott officers.
The suspect is scheduled to appear in Ellicott Court at a later date to address the charges against him.
