(WNY News Now) – On the evening of October 25, 2023, the Busti Fire Department and neighboring mutual aid fire departments rushed to 3757 Bake Street Ext. in the Town of Busti to battle a garage fire.

Town of Busti – In response to an emergency call on October 25, 2023, at approximately 8:19 pm, the Busti Fire Department, along with several neighboring fire departments, arrived at 3757 Bake Street Ext. in the Town of Busti. The call pertained to a blaze that had engulfed a residential garage, prompting a rapid and coordinated firefighting effort.

Despite the efforts of the responding fire crews, the fire ultimately consumed the entire garage along with its contents, resulting in a complete loss. No injuries have been reported in connection with the incident, and residents of the affected property are said to be safe.

Following the successful extinguishing of the flames, the Chautauqua County Fire Investigation Team has been mobilized to conduct a comprehensive inquiry into the cause and origin of the fire.
