(WNY News Now) – A domestic incident involving a 25-year-old Jamestown resident on the South Side of the city has led to her arrest on charges of Harassment 2nd Degree and Criminal Contempt 1st Degree.

Jamestown – On the evening of October 29, 2023, at approximately 6:34 PM, Jamestown police officers responded to a residence on the South Side of the city in response to a reported domestic incident that had occurred earlier in the day. The victim, a male, informed law enforcement that he had allegedly been struck in the head by Angela L. Tianshi,25, the suspect in question, using a closed fist.

The situation is further complicated by the presence of a valid Refrain From Order of Protection against Angela. This protection order indicates that she was legally prohibited from having contact with the victim.

Following their initial conversation with the victim, officers located Angela L. Tianshi and placed her under arrest. She now faces charges of Harassment in the 2nd Degree and Criminal Contempt in the 1st Degree.

After her arrest, Angela was transported to the city jail, where she was held pending her arraignment.
