Jamestown Resident Arrested for Meth and Kung Fu Star


(WNY News Now) – A 25-year-old Jamestown resident is facing an array of charges after a traffic stop on Prendergast Ave near Crossman St on November 3, 2023, at 6:09 PM.

Jamestown – Dale R. Linkous Jr, a 25-year-old Jamestown resident, was arrested following a routine traffic stop conducted by officers from the Jamestown Police Department on the evening of November 3, 2023. The incident occurred at the intersection of Prendergast Ave and Crossman St.

During the traffic stop, officers discovered that Linkous’ driving privileges had been revoked, and his vehicle lacked the required Ignition Interlock System. Subsequent investigation alleges the discovery of a small quantity of Methamphetamine and an illegal metal Kung Fu Star in Linkous’ possession, which is prohibited in New York State.


As a result of the findings, Dale R. Linkous Jr was taken into custody and transported to the Jamestown City Jail. He is now held pending arraignment on multiple charges, including Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th, Aggravated Unlicensed Operation 2nd, Operating a Motor Vehicle without an Ignition Interlock System, and an Equipment violation related to non-transparent side windows.

The case is set to be heard at the Jamestown City Court.
