JAMESTOWN, NEW YORK (WNY NEWS NOW) – On Wednesday morning, the Jamestown Tarp Skunks of the PGCBL (Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League) announced the hiring of a new field coach for the 2024 season, Ben Julian. 

Julian comes to Jamestown after spending the past few seasons as the manager of the Auburn Doubledays.

He coached the Doubledays to 3 consecutive playoff appearances. He has also coached other teams across the PGCBL including the Adirondack Trailblazers and the Utica Blue Sox.

Julian is currently the head coach at St. Petersburg High School in Florida.

Joining Julian in Jamestown will be an assistant coach, Zachary Crane.

More exciting news is in store for the Tarp Skunks including new clothing and merchandise so fans are encouraged to stay up to date on all things Tarp Skunks via the Skunks website. 









Fans can also follow the Skunks on social media.

The Tarp Skunks will be making an appearance at the Jamestown Christmas parade on December 2nd in downtown Jamestown.
