(WNY News Now) – On November 17, 2023, at 8:06 PM, officers responded to reports of a person with a weapon on the north side of the city, leading to the arrest of 19-year-old Jamestown resident.
Jamestown, NY – In an incident on the evening of November 17, 2023, authorities were alerted to a potential threat on the north side of Jamestown. Responding officers discovered two victims outside a residence, alleging that Brian L. Turk had pointed what appeared to be a rifle at them, accompanied by verbal threats to shoot.
Upon intervention, officers apprehended Turk without incident, transporting him to the city jail. Subsequent investigation revealed that the weapon in question was, in fact, an imitation firearm.
The 19-year-old now faces two counts of Menacing in the 2nd Degree, as per the victims’ statements and evidence gathered at the scene. Brian L. Turk is currently held in the city jail pending arraignment in Jamestown City Court.
