Fredonia, NY – Chautauqua County Executive PJ Wendel embarked on a tour of Range Ranch, situated on Fredonia Stockton Road, to gain firsthand insights into the ongoing developments. Founded as a way to bond over their shared passion for animals, sustainable living, and a deep commitment to caring for the land, Range Ranch is set to be more than just a farm.
The founders, two of whom are active-duty military personnel, converged their interests with a vision to address the growing need for awareness and support for the nation’s Veterans. Described as a dream turned reality, Range Ranch aims to provide not only quality food for local communities but also a safe and therapeutic haven for Veterans in transition.
The Ranch, a Veteran-owned and operated enterprise, distinguishes itself as a family dedicated to giving back to the community. Their approach integrates agriculture, animals, and nature to foster peace and healing. The therapeutic environment at Range Ranch encompasses equine therapy and other farm-based methods designed to create a supportive space for Veterans seeking solace and recovery.
“No Veteran will be left behind,” states the Ranch’s mission, emphasizing a commitment to supporting those who have served. The two-fold mission comprises the provision of quality beef, fresh eggs, and dairy products to local communities, with plans to expand nationally. Additionally, Range Ranch aims to support Veterans and First Responders in coping with the challenges they’ve faced, both in deployments and domestic training.
The Ranch’s support system extends to aiding individuals in finding healing through the stewardship of the land and fostering a connection with nature and animals. By incorporating equine therapy and apitherapy, Range Ranch aspires to create an environment where Veterans and First Responders can find peace and solace.
The founders express their vision as not merely operating a farm but as a dynamic force enriching the community in multiple ways. Through sustainable agriculture and therapeutic interventions, Range Ranch stands as a testament to the power of community support and the healing potential inherent in the bond between humans, nature, and animals.
In line with their dual mission, Range Ranch is poised to contribute to the well-being of both the local community and the broader Veteran and First Responder community. Range Ranch represents a significant stride toward holistic support for those who have dedicated their lives to service.
