(WNY News Now) – In a court decision today, a 24-year-old Jamestown man has been sentenced to 20 years in state prison with 5 years of post-release supervision for the first-degree manslaughter of Angel Pacheco on October 19, 2021.

Mayville – District Attorney Jason Schmidt announced the sentencing, carried out by Judge David Foley, following Mr. Camacho-Monge’s guilty plea on September 5th. The conviction, classified as a Class B felony, stems from the tragic homicide that occurred on Water Street in Jamestown.

The prosecution expressed gratitude to Captain Robert Samuelson of the Jamestown Police Department and the JPD Detective Bureau for their unwavering dedication to the case. The successful outcome underscores their diligent efforts in investigating and bringing justice to the victim, Angel Pacheco.
