WNY NEWS NOW – After making it all the way to the New York State Class D semifinals, the Clymer/Sherman/Panama 2023 high school football season has come to an end.

CSP lost to section IV’s Tioga Friday afternoon by a score of 63-16.

Tioga will now advance to the NYSPHSAA class D championship.

Tioga came into the game with a record of 12-0 and the #1 ranked team in New York State class D.

Clymer/Sherman/Panama had a record of 11-0 heading into the semifinals and were the #2 ranked team in New York State.

CSP’s last championship came in back to back seasons in 2018/2019.









Meanwhile, Tioga will now look to win their 3rd state championship in a row after winning in 2021 and 2022.
