Jamestown Man Faces Drug Charges Following Traffic Stop


(WNY News Now) – A 25-year-old male from Jamestown, NY, is held pending arraignment after being charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 2nd Degree, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th Degree, and two counts of Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia in the 2nd Degree.

Jamestown, N.Y. – In the early hours of November 30, 2023, officers from the Jamestown Police Department’s Violent Crime Unit conducted a routine traffic stop on Washington St near W 15th St, citing observed traffic infractions. During the stop, officers engaged with the vehicle’s occupants, one of whom was identified as Bracken D. Warren.

Upon investigation, officers, assisted by the Jamestown Police Department’s K9 Unit, conducted a search of the vehicle, revealing a small quantity of Fentanyl, digital scales, and packaging. A subsequent search of Bracken’s person uncovered over 2 ounces (57.2 grams) of Methamphetamine. In light of these findings, Bracken was taken into custody and charged with Felony Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 2nd Degree, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th Degree, and two counts of Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia in the 2nd Degree.





Following the arrest, Bracken was transported to the Jamestown City Jail, where he was held pending arraignment in Jamestown City Court.
