(WNY News Now) – As the year draws to a close, the Chautauqua Lake Association (CLA) expresses gratitude for the community’s support in 2023 and looks ahead to enhanced conservation initiatives in 2024.
Lakewood, NY – Dear Friends of Chautauqua Lake –
As we work our way through the month of December, we reflect on 2023 and are thankful to all who have donated and supported the CLA this year. Your contributions help our organization continue to provide the successful invasive species prevention programs and in-lake maintenance services that are necessary to keep Chautauqua Lake clean and safe for the enjoyment of everyone.
In 2024, we hope to have a new harvester and possibly two new support vessels in operation on the lake as well as an enhanced Watercraft Steward program. This will ensure better efficiency for our crews and better results in our work to keep new aquatic invasive species out of Chautauqua Lake.
Please, if you have not done so already, consider making a tax-deductible, year-end contribution to the Chautauqua Lake Association. Every dollar counts.
There are four easy ways to donate:
- Stop in to the CLA in person at 429 East Terrace Avenue in Lakewood to make a cash, credit card or check contribution
- Call the CLA office at 716.763.8602 to make a donation via credit card over the phone
- Visit ChautauquaLakeAssociation.org to make a credit card donation online using CLA’s secure website checkout
- Mail a check to the CLA at 429 East Terrace Avenue, Lakewood, NY, 14750.
When considering your year-end donation, you may also support future service to Chautauqua Lake with a contribution to the CLA Endowment Fund. These funds are held at the Chautauqua Region Community Foundation and earnings are used to assist with expenses. To learn more about these opportunities to give, visit ChautauquaLakeAssociation.org/
