At just 3 years old, Taylnn found her initial inspiration when she learned about a sick child in need. “Oh my gosh, I need to help him out,” she exclaimed, setting the foundation for her commitment to philanthropy. Her early encounters with someone ringing the bell for the Salvation Army at a local Tops store further fueled her desire to contribute. Since then, Taylnn’s Giving Mission has assisted over 500 kids, embodying the true spirit of community service.

This year, the mission received a boost with a $400 gift card from Walmart. While a significant start, the generosity of individuals in the community has also played a crucial role. The primary goal remains to provide gifts to those less fortunate, with this year’s mission focusing on aiding over 100 students. As an incentive, every donated toy enters participants into a raffle for a $25 gift card.

To facilitate contributions, dropboxes have been set up at Phone Zone on Foote and possibly Jamestown Rent to Own. The collection period spans the next two weeks, providing ample time for the community to come together and support Taylnn’s Giving Mission. Taylnn expressed her gratitude to all those who have contributed so far and everyone who continues to champion the cause, emphasizing the collective effort in addressing community needs.
