(WNY News Now) – This holiday season, Moynihan Train Hall invites you to experience its history, architecture, and special festive cheer including live music, and vibrant new options for dining, libations and unique gifts. Located in the heart of Midtown Manhattan, Moynihan Train Hall is the region’s premier gateway, a hub for arts, culture, and culinary delights, and further proof that there’s no place like New York for the holidays.

Festive Programming for All Ages: Celebrate the season with a cheerful program of free musical performances throughout the month of December. The Moynihan Music Series presented in partnership with Sing for Hope features world-class musical talent performing inside the train hall in the Main Concourse. The 34th Street Partnership treats the public to additional pop-up performances on the outdoor 8th Ave entry plazas and the iconic Farley Post Office stairs. Check the full schedule below for more must-see holiday music dates!

Architectural Masterpiece & A Landmark Reinvented: There’s no better time to experience Moynihan Train Hall’s breathtaking grandeur, with the architectural marvel decked out for the season and featuring dramatic holiday lighting of the skylights and the iconic stone façade. The storied building has a long legacy of holiday cheer, including a role in the classic “Miracle on 34th Street.” The Post Office’s 8th Ave lobby was painstakingly restored and is a majestic place to mail holiday greetings.

The Best of New York, Only Steps from the Train: Moynihan Food Hall continues to expand its offerings from many of the city’s beloved purveyors: from mouthwatering chicken and biscuits, pizza, ramen, burgers, sushi, and falafel, to some of the most decadent dessert, fine chocolate, and gourmet pastry options around! Don’t miss grabbing a holiday cocktail at The Irish Exit, Moynihan Food Hall’s buzzing bar.

Art Abounds: In addition to jaw-dropping permanent installations, Empire State Development and Art at Amtrak partnered to bring ongoing multimedia visual exhibitions. Currently featured is The Singing Suns by acclaimed artist Shahzia Sikander, a video animation created from ink drawings that dazzles on the Main Concourse’s 160-foot-wide digital canvas—catch it on the quarter-hour.

Plan your visit today and let Moynihan Train Hall transport you to New York’s holiday magic. Make new memories and traditions this joyous season: moynihantrainhall.nyc
