(WNY News Now) – Two Jamestown residents were apprehended on January 4, 2024, for alleged petit larceny and violating a valid Order of Protection at a Southside business.

On the night of January 4, 2024, around 9:20 PM, Jamestown Police Department’s 2nd Platoon responded to a larceny complaint at a Southside business. Investigation revealed that Jennifer Allen, 38, and Shaun Porter, 45, entering the establishment, were allegedly involved in the theft of a phone charger. Moreover, an active Stay Away Order of Protection against Allen, related to an employee working at the business, was discovered.

The duo was swiftly located nearby, arrested without incident, and held for arraignment at Jamestown City Court. Porter faces a charge of Petit Larceny, while Allen faces the more severe charge of Criminal Contempt 1st Degree (Felony), given the violation of the Order of Protection.
